Cleobury Mortimer records have been added - but some marriages and baptisms are missing as well as all entries pre-1638 and post 1812 (which will be added soon)
The transcriptions have errors, but they are very useful for searching before poring over microfiche copies. It is a great shame that the system was changed as – admittedly variable in application – many incumbents added very useful notes to the entries. Being able to see the parents of those baptised is so much easier than searching indexes with no detail – the same indexes which with remarkable lack of foresight show each half of a married couple separately!
The transcriptions have been scanned and then put into a standard form using software, preserving the original transcribed entry.
